Comfort at bedtime. Safety when it counts.
The monsters kids picture under the bed aren’t real — but break-ins, strangers, and real emergencies are. Monster Detector soothes nighttime fears with a friendly radar, and gives kids a one-tap line straight to their parents when something actually goes wrong.
Both parent and child install the Monster Detector app. A simple setup flow keeps everyone protected without runaway costs.
Mom or Dad downloads the app and chooses how they want to be notified for Test and Help events — text message, phone call, or both. Charge info is shown right up front.
The child’s phone shows a friendly radar with two buttons: Test Alarm and Call for Help. That’s the whole interface.
The first time the child taps Test Alarm, parents are notified it works. The Test button then hides — leaving only the Help button when it really matters.
For the child
Built with bright colors, friendly characters, and only the two buttons kids need. No menus, no settings, no way to get lost. Just a glowing radar that quietly says: “You are safe.”
For parents
Parents get a full dashboard to configure how alerts arrive, quiet hours, trusted contacts, and more. You are always the one in charge.
Beyond bedtime
We named it Monster Detector because kids relate to it — but the same two buttons protect against the threats parents actually worry about.
One press of Help sends a text or places a call to every parent on the account — with live location if the add-on is enabled.
Built so kids feel safe and parents stay in control of costs.
The first tap confirms the system works and notifies parents. After that, the Test button hides — no repeat false alarms, no repeat charges.
From the parent app, Mom or Dad can bring the Test button back at any time. We clearly warn that additional tests may add SMS or call charges.
The Call for Help button stays available at all times. When setting it up, parents see a transparent note that each press may incur text or phone charges.
Upgrade the Help button to share the child’s live location the moment it’s pressed — so a parent can reach them as fast as possible.
Parents pick their preferred notification mix during setup: SMS, automated phone call, or both.
Add a co-parent, a grandparent, or more than one child. Everyone stays linked through the same family plan.
The monsters kids picture under the bed aren’t real — but real threats like break-ins, strangers, or getting separated from a parent absolutely are. Monster Detector gives kids a friendly way to feel safe at night, and a real emergency channel when something is actually wrong.
Monster Detector will be subscription-based. Sending text messages and placing phone calls has real per-message costs, so a small monthly plan keeps the service reliable. Final pricing will be announced before launch — join the waitlist to be the first to hear.
You receive the alert style you chose during setup — text, automated phone call, or both. The child sees a gentle confirmation that you’ve been notified. If you’ve enabled the location add-on, your child’s live location is shared with you at the same moment.
No. The Test button only works once by default — it confirms the system is set up correctly, then hides itself on your child’s phone. You can re-enable it from your parent app, and we’ll clearly remind you that additional tests may add SMS or call charges to your plan.
Location tracking is an optional add-on for the Help button. When your child presses Help, their live location is shared with you alongside the alert, so you can find them as quickly as possible.
Join the waitlist — we’ll email you as soon as the app is live.
